Home for Good's activity in the South East reflects the diversity of the region, and is developing all the time. We are working closely with the voluntary adoption agency, PACT, who have offices in London, Reading and Brighton, and offer a faith-friendly service to Christians thinking of adopting. PACT has partnered with us since the launch of our Pathway to Adoption, and understands all that the faith community offers.
The South East has local movements in Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell and Southampton. There are currently fostering campaigns in Slough and Oxfordshire, where we work closely with the local authorities. There are a number of support groups, and we are keen to connect with adopters and foster carers across the region.
There is also a network of champions and a number of Home for Good churches across the region. We are glad to partner with people and organisations with an interest in helping vulnerable children and supporting families who foster or adopt. Together we are seeing real change in the lives of children and young people.
For ten years Rupert supported Further Education colleges around issues like youth unemployment and special educational needs. Rupert oversees our work in the South East.
