With good relationships across the city, churches have been working together to help serve the children and the authorities by promoting and supporting adoption and fostering among the Christian community.
‘Families for Forty’ was a campaign in Southampton which was created in response to a passionate plea from a councillor for more fostering and adoption from faith communities. Read about Families for Forty or watch the video. We have now established a local movement of Home for Good, which will continue to support and encourage Christians and Churches to be actively involved in an ongoing campaign.
If you'd like more information about fostering or adoption, as an individual, or as a church looking to encourage and support those who embark on this exciting journey, we're here to help. Contact Home for Good: Southampton below or on 023 80 676599).
