South East

Home for Good's activity in the South East reflects the diversity of the region and is developing all the time. There is also a strong network of champions and a number of Home for Good churches across the region. We are glad to partner with people and organisations with an interest in helping vulnerable children and supporting families who foster or adopt. Together we are seeing real change in the lives of children and young people.

We have a local movement in Bracknell Forest. There are currently fostering campaigns in Kent and West Berkshire whilst developing relationships in Hampshire. We have delivered campaigns in several other authorities since our launch including in Reading and Wokingham. There are a number of support groups, and we are keen to connect with adopters and foster carers across the region.

We partner with voluntary adoption agencies, PACT, who have offices in London, Reading and Brighton, and Diagrama Foundation, who have offices in Croydon and Chatham, as well as St. Francis' Children Society in Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire. All appreciate the role that faith plays both in leading people to adopt and also in sustaining adopters’ years down the line.

For fostering we partner with Achieving for Children (Windsor and Maidenhead), West Berkshire Council and Bracknell Forest and Southampton City Council. We also partner with not-for-profit fostering agencies, Diagrama Foundation and Action for Children.
