Adoption in Oxfordshire

In Oxfordshire, Home for Good is working closely with the voluntary adoption agency PACT.  PACT has strong historical connections with the church.  Home for Good has partnered with PACT to deliver its Pathway to Adoption for those who want to adopt some of the children who have waited the longest to find a forever family.  In Oxfordshire, this includes white European children aged 4+, black or minority ethnic children, sibling groups and children with additional needs.  PACT also runs an IAAM (It’s All About Me) programme to find homes for children with some of the most complex needs, and this programme offers additional support.

Home for Good particularly recommends PACT because it offers lifelong post-adoption support to those who adopt with them.  In addition, Home for Good has provided faith literacy training to PACT social workers to help introduce them to the diverse nature of the Christian community, as well as some of the reasons for which Christians choose to adopt.  PACT has been rated outstanding in its Ofsted inspection, and has offices in Oxford and Reading, so is well-placed to help those who would like to find out more about adoption.  For further information, please visit PACT's website or contact Rupert at
