God is Stranger

God is Stranger is the latest book by author Krish Kandiah, Home for Good's founder and director.

In this book, Krish reviews familiar stories from the Bible where God turns up unannounced, unrecognised and uninvited, and where His ways are strange to us.

Home for Good is joining Krish as he speaks at church services around the country exploring some of the themes of hospitality, mercy and justice included in God is Stranger over the coming year. We believe that as the Church learns more about the counter-cultural generosity to which we are called, and God's awesome nature, we cannot help but be challenged to welcome some of society's most vulnerable into our hearts and our homes.

God is Stranger includes a message that is hugely relevant to today's society and the whole Church as it delves into how we treat strangers, who we welcome and who we care for. As the book considers the implications of this message for our homes, families, churches and communities, the Home for Good team is excited to play a part in responding by introducing the often unfamiliar concept of fostering and adoption - welcoming vulnerable children, young people and unaccompanied asylum seeking minors into our homes - to readers and congregations.

God is Stranger will be available to purchase at the services listed below or from Eden.co.uk.
