Home for Good: Bracknell Forest

Home for Good: Bracknell Forest is part of the national Home for Good network of local movements.  Local Christians with a passion for looked after children first started talking to the council in 2013 about how the church could help in finding homes.  Those early conversations led to the start of this local movement, managed by Kerith Community Church

Everything we do is child-focussed, helping families to flourish. We:

  • promote fostering and adoption across the churches in the Bracknell Forest area, including Sandhurst and Binfield
  • connect local Christians who foster or adopt to support one another through the joys and challenges of family life
  • help churches in the area to be even more supportive and welcoming to foster and adoptive families.

We work with the Bracknell Forest Family Placement Team where there’s a need for foster carers, particularly for children aged 10 and over.  We also work with PACT Voluntary Adoption Agency for those potential adopters looking to adopt children who have been waiting the longest.

Please contact us below if you would like to:

  • talk about fostering or adopting
  • connect with others
  • join the team
  • hear about our regular information events
  • or if you are a church leader and would like someone to come and talk about fostering or adoption, on a Sunday, to a group or individually.
