Home for Good Pathway to Adoption

Home for Good isn’t an Adoption Agency, but we are now working with excellent Adoption Agencies to create the Home for Good Pathway to Adoption. The agencies we are currently partnering with are:

> Adoption Focus (West Midlands)
Adoption Matters (North West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber)
Diagrama (Kent)
PACT (South East)
Scottish Adoption (Edinburgh)
St Andrew’s Children’s Society (Edinburgh and Aberdeen)
St Margaret’s Children and Family Care Society (Glasgow)

Recommended by Home for Good, these agencies are committed to providing a faith-friendly service and offer fantastic post-adoption support – for life.

The priority of the pathway is to find suitable families for children who often have to wait the longest to find their home for good. Typically, these are children over the age of four, children from ethnic minorities, sibling groups and children with additional needs.

Commendations for the pathway

“From the initial phone call it was a totally different experience. I can’t fault anything at all. I was treated with respect and acceptance.” - an Adoption Matters adopter

“As a first time adopter I was dreading the adoption process. I’d heard negative comments about it being slow and bureaucratic, but my social worker at PACT made our experience a dream thanks to her professionalism, kindness and understanding.” - a PACT adopter
