Peer support groups

There is nothing like sharing with others who have the same first-hand experience as you, and who just ‘get it’. Home for Good wants to facilitate peer-to-peer support wherever possible, to ensure that all foster carers, adoptive parents and supported lodgings hosts are part of a community of support with those who understand.

There are three main ways to do this:

1. Connect with a Champion:

Through our Champions and local movements, we are connected with carers and parents throughout the UK. If you would like to get in touch with someone in your area, call our enquiry team on 0300 001 0995 and we will seek to link you up.

2. Connect with a support group:

Alongside this, there are peer support groups connected to Home for Good throughout the country. Find out if there are support groups in your area here.

3. Set up a support group in your area:

To find out more about these support groups, or if you are part of a peer support group and would like to connect it with Home for Good or are considering setting one up, use the link below.
